Job Description

We are seeking a talented pre-production \ Logikal technician to work within our commercial aluminium team. Due to a period of significant growth, we have successfully secured a pipeline of contracts and have an ever-growing portfolio of work. The successful candidate will be a key member of the project design team.

Role summary:

• Produce aluminium glazing system fabrication inputs & outputs from propriety software
• Liaise with contract estimators to ensure that drawings match our tender specifications
• Quantify accessories, interface flashings and seals
• Negotiating with suppliers for best prices
• Coordinate with external supply chain to ensure accurate delivery of materials to site
• Ensure quality is achieved through Right First Time

Essential criteria:
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience using Logikal software for inputs and outputs for fabrication
• Highly proficient in the use of AutoCAD
• Competent in reading architectural & structural steel drawings
• Full knowledge of window & curtain wall factory fabrication, including saw and CNC operation
• Be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of curtain wall site assembly
• Competent in Microsoft excel

Desirable criteria:
• Good working knowledge of aluminium systems: Metal Technology, APS, Schüco etc
• HND \ HNC or equivalent in the built environment sector
• Knowledge of BIM, Revit or Sketchup
• CSR card or equivalent
